Finnish gothic rock act ENTWINE has issued the following update:

"Fans going to any of next month's ENTWINE shows in Germany are in for a special treat.

"Due to personal reasons, Jaani Kähkönen, ENTWINE's usual guitarist, will not be able to play at the German shows. He will be replaced, for those five shows only, by Janne, the guitarist from fellow Finnish band UNIKLUBI.

"Jaani will be playing for ENTWINE as normal at the gig in Dordrecht, Holland on May 18, and will be back with ENTWINE at the Sauna Open Air metal festival in Finland on June 8."

The affected dates are as follows:

May 23 - Hamburg, Logo * (GER)
May 24 - Duisburg, Pulp * (GER)
May 25 - Leipzig, Wave Gotik Treffen (GER)
May 26 - Bielefeld, Falkendom * (GER)
May 28 - Berlin, Knaack * (GER)

* With DOPE STARS INC. and JESUS ON EXTASY

ENTWINE's fifth studio album, "Fatal Design", was released in September 2006 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux via Century Media Records through a licensing deal with Spinefarm Records. The CD was recorded at Petrax and Groveland studios by ENTWINE drummer Aksu Hanttu and producer Janne Joutsenniemi (STONE, SUBURBAN TRIBE). The album was mixed at Finnvox by Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM).
